Hi! Just got an old hp2500cm and some extra printhead and ink. Works quite well but some small issues. That fix for Errorcode1 = 455, where can I found the small white gear? It does not take A3-paper from tray3, cant figure out how it should work, or is it just broken. Any picture to clarify? Jack

just got an hp2500cm. with no paper in the bottom tray it turned on and said 'ready'. went to print a test page and say load paper in bottom tray. loaded paper it went like it was going to print then throught he following error: ncodes=2 errorcode2=9 nvmerror device absent any ideas.. thanks. leonard

Please try this. Mech SS Out of limits Ncodes = 1 Errorcode1 = 455 1. Unplug printer. 2. Remove printhead access cover - this is the hinged cover covering the inkjet cartridges and printhead (the "purple unit"). 3. Lift main cover ("top cover"). 4. Use a pen to roll backwards the small white gear to the left of the purple unit. Rolling the gear will result in the gear lowering itself. Note: The "purple unit" is exposed when you removed the printhead access cover in step 1. 5. With the gear in its lowest position, move the carriage all the way to the left of the printer. 6. Replace all covers. 7. Plug in and turn printer on.

Mech SS Out of limits Ncodes = 1 Errorcode1 = 455 HP2500 is a peice of crap in spanish its caca...trust me...i spent 4 hours, called an HP Tech in, and said, just buy a new one...

Hola , tengo una impresora hp2500 que no reconoce los cabezales, el mensaje es :cabezal no alineados, no responde del mando le e cambiado cabezal nuevo pero siguie el error cabezal C y M RETIRE, vuelve hacer el ciclo sin tener la solucion, alguna sugerencia de que puede ser el problema les agradeceria su apoyo.
